Only 100,000 Silver sets were minted. There was another 60,000 Silver sets minted that included 2 Gold coins. China only allowed 500 of these sets to be sold to the US. I am sure some US visitors that were coin collectors probably purchased some additional sets with heavy export limitations. I understand another 700 sets China allowed sales to Europe and a couple other countries.
