    1995-1996 S&M Dirtbike 1 1/8” Mid-school survivor - GT, Lovegoat, S&M parts
It’s time for me to sell my prized S&M Dirtbike, built up with survivor goodies just like I had it back in the day. It’s a true representative of what a lot of S&M’s looked like back in the mid 90’s—someone throwing all their GT parts onto an S&M frame and fork.
    The Build:
Starting off with a chrome Dirtbike frame and Pitch Forks, rolling on 2.0” GT tires wrapped around Araya Super 7x rims and 48h GT Mohawk hubs. Rounding out the drivetrain are S&M DX style pedals, GT-stamped Profile cranks + a Profile Whippet sprocket. Cockpit has S&M Slam Bars with an ultra-rare Lovegoat Lovegod stem paired with a leather Selle Italia Turbo saddle on (I think) a GT layback post with integrated guts. Braking is handled by Dia-compe ad-990’s with a Tech 77 lever and an Odyssey Gyro.
There are some obvious imperfections coming with a 25+ year old bike—small ding on the top tube and seat stays, the tires are pretty dry, chrome is flaking from the rims, and the stem is pretty scuffed up, but this is still a build that’s hard to beat.
